In a word: Jane is fabulous!

In a word: Jane is fabulous. Our family bought plane tickets to Barcelona with only the vaguest idea of how we'd spend eight days in Spain. I started planning our trip, then realized I had no idea what we should do, and no time to figure it out. On the recommendation of a friend, we hired Jane, and she basically saved our vacation. More than saved it; she _elevated_ it. She really took the time to listen and understand what our family is interested in and how we like to travel. She made great suggestions and offered options; when I replied, she heard what I said and also "read between the lines" to come back with better and better ideas. She worked around and within the plans I had already made, suggesting day trips, side trips, tour operators, and off-the-beaten-path hotels and destinations, most of which she had personally experienced...so they were all top-notch. Best of all, her communication was stellar -- clear, timely, and also _patient_ with me even when I was not so clear or quick-to-reply myself. During our time in Spain, where there was a small issue with an upcoming apart-hotel reservation, she was on the phone with us right away, and also worked everything out with the rental company; when we arrived in Girona that evening, everything was all set.
