I’m Jane Hermstedt, founder of Niveus Travel, and my story begins in Kansas but stretches across the world. Over the years, I’ve lived in India, Hungary, the United Arab Emirates, Canada, Argentina, France, Japan, and Albania, and for the past four years, I’ve been living on the eastern coast of Spain. Each place has shaped how I see and experience travel.

In every country, I’ve explored deeply. I learned scuba diving in Oman, horseback riding in Argentina, and the art of slowing down in Spain. From wandering markets in South America to hiking remote trails in Japan, I’ve found that the most meaningful journeys balance curiosity with connection. Travel, for me, has always been about seeking out the incredible beauty of nature and local cultures around the world. It is also about understanding a place beyond the surface.

That perspective is at the heart of Niveus Travel. I design meaningful, personalized journeys that blend depth, beauty, and fun. Whether it’s a rare cultural festival in the South Pacific, a remote wilderness lodge in Lapland, or a slow, scenic route through Europe, my goal is to help travelers experience the world with authenticity and wonder.

Before launching Niveus Travel, I spent years in leadership development, helping others grow through transformative experiences. Now I bring that same mindset to travel, creating journeys that inspire reflection, connection, and joy.

The name Niveus means snowy white in Latin. To me, it represents the feeling of taking the first steps into fresh snow — beautiful, untouched, and full of possibility. That spirit of curiosity and renewal is what I aim to bring to every trip I plan.
